L-arginine Plus Made With Xylitol

Learn about how Xylitol makes L-arginine Plus® a balanced supplement.

History of Xylitol

Xylitol is a five-carbon sugar alcohol that naturally occurs in the fibers of certain types of fruits and vegetables including raspberries, strawberries, yellow plums, lettuce, cauliflower and corn.

For commercial purposes, it is most often extracted from the bark of birch trees. It was first discovered in 1891 by a German chemist and later used as a sweetener in Finland due to sugar shortages during World War II.
In 1963 it was approved as a food additive by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, but it wasn’t until recently that it has been used in a wide variety of food products. It is now available in 35 countries.

What Does Xylitol Do?

One teaspoon of xylitol has 10 calories, compared to sugar, which has 15 calories. However, the sugar alcohols in xylitol don’t have as much of an impact on your blood sugar levels -- one reason it’s considered more safe for diabetics.
Classified as a carbohydrate, 1 teaspoon of xylitol contains 4 grams of carbohydrates and 4 grams of sugar alcohols. It contains only trace amounts of vitamins and minerals, but it helps with the absorption of calcium and B vitamins in your body. Xylitol supplies amounts of liver glycogen, with about 10 percent of xylitol metabolized in the kidneys and the remainder used up by blood cells, the adrenal cortex, lung, testes, brain and other tissues.

Xylitol is a great addition to L-arginine Plus. Find out what else is in L-arginine Plus that makes it such a great cardio health supplement at the L-arginine website! Try some today.

L-Arginine and Weight Loss

Research and studies continue showing that taking L-arginine can help you with healthy weight loss. One study suggested that the amino acid L-arginine does promote weight loss. Weight loss results from L-arginine are becoming more and more common as more people begin to use it.

Does L-Arginine Actually Help You Lose Weight?

The answer is yes! Researchers found that L-arginine can be useful in fighting central (visceral) obesity. Central obesity is alarming because it is linked to a higher cardiometabolic risk.

Another study found that obese participants who took L-arginine lost more adipose fat mass and decreased their weight circumference more than other participants on the same diet. The amino acid L-arginine offers many benefits including supporting individuals to lose weight.

How Does L-Arginine Help People Lose Weight?

Weight loss from L-arginine is a result from increases in nitric oxide production that helps support healthy blood pressure and cholesterol. It also has been shown to help regulate hormone functions and also may increase the level of key hormones that are related to weight loss.

L-arginine enables IGF-1 and additional key hormones to align with muscle receptors to burn fat, increase energy, and support healthy muscle growth. L-arginine also boosts nitric oxide production to improve delivery of nutrients throughout the body. This helps boost energy and endurance, which helps users to burn more calories.

Try L-arginine Plus today! You'll be surprised at the health benefits it can give you!

L-arginine Health Facts

L-arginine Plus is a cardio health formula and Nitric Oxide booster. However, many people are unsure what L-arginine is or what its benefits are. Both L-arginine and Nitric Oxide are vital to keeping your heart healthy.

Nitric Oxide

In 1998 the Nobel Prize was won in medicine for the discovery of the role Nitric Oxide plays in the cardiovascular system and throughout the body. Since then, Nitric Oxide has been called the "miracle molecule." Nitric Oxide has been found to relax the blood vessels and enlarge them. It can prevent clots that cause strokes and heart attacks. It regulates blood pressure, reduces stress on the heart, improves circulation, and reduces the buildup of plaque in blood vessels.

L-arginine

L-arginine is a vital amino acid. There have been several published studies that have proven that L-arginine triggers cell production of Nitric Oxide. L-citrulline is then metabolized in the body and may help yield more L-arginine, boosting levels of Nitric Oxide for longer amounts of time.

L-arginine Plus Cardio Health Formula combines L-arginine, L-citrulline and other vital nutrients. This breakthrough formula helps promote remarkable cardiovascular health!

How Much L-Arginine To Take Daily

How Much L-Arginine To Take Daily

 Written By L-Arginine Plus

L-arginine and L-citrulline are amino acids that have a wide range of effects on your body. Both can be found naturally in foods and synthesized in your body from other sources.  Arginine and citrulline can be taken as nutritional supplements for their potential health benefits and low toxicity.

Arginine Dosing

Arginine is naturally found in nuts, seeds, cereals, corn, meat, and a variety of other food products.  A common dose of arginine supplements range between 2 to 3 g three times a day for a total of 6 to 12 g daily. In certain clinical settings, up to 20 g of arginine per day have been used to successfully treat symptoms of congestive heart failure.

L-arginine is an essential amino acid,  your body cannot produce it on its own. Your body uses this amino acid for a variety of purposes, including boosting immune system function and improving blood flow.

You obtain this amino acid through diet, medication and/or nutritional supplements. Dietary sources include meat, dairy products and fish. Consult your doctor before trying arginine supplements.

Benefits

Arginine medicines and supplements may be effective for treating several health conditions and for improving exercise capacity.  arginine is possibly effective for congestive heart failure, bladder inflammation, erectile dysfunction and improving recovery following a surgery.  There's evidence that consuming 6 g of arginine before a workout increases exercise capacity by as much as 26 percent.

How it Works

When you consume arginine from food sources or supplements, it gets converted to a chemical called nitric oxide. You can find nitric oxide supplements at fitness stores -- they are essentially L-arginine supplements marketed as nitric oxide supplements. The nitric oxide causes blood vessels to open, allowing increased blood flow through the body.

Dosages

The recommended dosage of arginine varies depending on the treatment. For congestive heart failure, doses ranging from 6 g to 20 g per day, which varies on a case-by-case basis. For relieving chest pain caused by clogged arteries, 9 g to 28 g of arginine is taken in equal increments three or four times daily. Men suffering from erectile dysfunction may benefit from 5 g of L-arginine per day.
